Thanksgiving Vacation @ Ontario, Canada

November 22 was Thanksgiving Day. We had planned to visit one of the natural wonders of the world - Niagara Falls. It would be an experience of a lifetime to see more than 6 million cubic feet of water from Lake Erie plunging down the 173ft falls and flowing into Lake Ontario. These are 2 of the 5 North American Great Lakes.Our accommodation was the exquisite Falls View Jacuzzi Suite at the Embassy Suites Niagara Falls - the nearest hotel with full view of the falls!Not only would we have jacuzzi pool and living area in our suite, we would also be able to relax on our bed and marvel at the thundering falls at night, watching the illumination ...... and fireworks!After Black Friday, we would also skirt Lake Ontario to visit the cosmopolitan Toronto. We would be visiting Casa Loma (Canada's own medieval castle), the ultramodern Skydome, Chinatown, Ontario Place, Eaton Centre, Toronto's Waterfront, and the famous 1,815ft CN Tower - the tallest free-standing tower in the world!
