2000 Oct 27 FBI & National Memorials

So cool to flash your batch and shout "FBI!" Today we visited FBI Headquarters at J. Edgar Hoover Building, Washington D.C.🇺🇸
The Washington National Cathedral, Washington D.C.🇺🇸 was George Washington's plan for a great "church for national purpose in the capital city." After the foundational stone was laid in 1908, prime architect Philip Hubert Frohman took over the design in 1921 and worked until his death in 1921. Officially named Cathedral Church of St Peter and St Paul, this Cathedral was built in the shape of a cross; its architecture is Gothic.
... what were we taking?

Then we went on to visit all the memorials ... the Korean War Veteran Memorial ...
... "Four scores and seventy years ago ..." at Lincoln Memorial ...
... Vietnam Veterans Memorial ...
Standing at 555 feet, Washington Monument is an obelisk built to commemorate George Washington - once Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army in the American Revolutionary War and the First President of the United States - on the National Mall, Washington D.C.🇺🇸
... Thomas Jefferson Memorial ...
... and Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial ...
... Washington D.C.🇺🇸 ... a very beautiful city.
