2008 Feb 18 We Love Tallahassee

"Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty."" - John 6:35
Our Tree Is Bald

By this time of winter, our tree had dropped all its leave and became completely bald. We had a lot of fun doing stuffs at our balcony - painting, reading, tea time, etc. We had a few gathering and celebration this month.

Chinese New Year In Tallahassee

Although we were all not back home in Singapore for Reunion Dinner, Chinese New Year in Tallahassee was equally cozy and warm. We each had our Reunion Dinner at our own home, but we came together for a wonderful Chinese New Year Steamboat Dinner (except for Jason, who he went back to Singapore). Look at the spread we had ... we did not miss a bit from home! Thanks to all the ladies.

We invited Bill, Liza (and Billy and Zoe), Jesse, Ella, and some friends over for a Chinese New Year Party at our house. The buffet spread was fantastic ... just look at all the local cuisine!

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was very much celebrated in the USA by people of all ages, even in Sonya's school! Michele and I had a simple Alaskan King Crab Dinner at home after the two kids went to bed.

"The Very Hungry Caterpillar" Birthday Celebration
Happy 5th Birthday, Ethan!

The theme for Ethan's 5th Birthday was Eric Carle's "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". Michele and I arranged a Cupcake-Caterpillar in the number "5" (and other snacks) for his celebration in class at Wesson School. He had a great time in class that day!

As 18 Feb 2008 was a weekday (school day), we celebrated Ethan's 5th Birthday at home. But we planned to bring him Disney World this coming weekend, so that he could have fun enjoying all his favorite rides.

Ethan was most excited and delighted to receive his birthday present ... Eric Carle's "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" Comforter & Bedding Set! Look at that big Sun and Caterpillar!

Happy 5th Birthday, Ethan!
